Wow, okay I am doing this and it already feels right, with only ten words into it, my first blog entry ever.   Random thoughts, random things to share, and a way to check in with myself and keep up with what the heck I am doing.  Blah blah blah. Yada yada yada.   I am counting down the days to my CD release party which is scheduled for Sunday, March 20th, 2011at Littlefield in Gowanus and that's only 4 full days away.  This is the first time I have ever released anything under my own personal name.  I've had band names to hide behind, and I love the feeling of being identified with a semi anonymous blob of great people with which we to collectively share both the glory and  shame of our artistic creations.  ( Tigers & Monkeys is currently recording another release.)  So who knows why I stepped out behind the band name.  I am trying to figure it out myself.   I am thinking that perhaps these stripped down recordings, share a more intimate and personal side of my songwriting.   I am hoping that you share a connection to my new recordings which has something to do with the vulnerability of being alone and on your own.  We'll see.  But that's it, I GUESS!
