Co-hosts Christian Felix and Shonali Bhowmik are joined by guests comedian & writer Josh Gondelman, Kabul-based award winning magazine writer and investigative reporter May Jeong and special musical guest Shilpa Ray! Justin the Intern will be there too. Showtime is 8pm. Free admission with 2 drink minimum. Christian and Shonali Bhowmik became fast friends while working as temporary workers at a gigantic law firm in Manhattan. They share a love of laughing and giving each other hell. You never know what will happen at this show outside of celebrating a diverse array of guests from all walks of life.
Fourwinds Films starts their 2019 Feature and A Short series on Friday, January 25th with the long time Fourwind collaborator, Shonali Bhowmik, who writes, produces, and so many things. Shonali will present, The Hike, the newest installment of Variety SHAC (hint: the 'S' is for Shonali). For her feature she is presenting a movie starring Nicolas Cage. The event will be at 73 Irving Avenue, Apt. 3L starting at 8:30PM. You can take the L train to the Jefferson stop in Bushwick.
